We play eight games of bid euchre every Tuesday night, , weather permitting. Starting at 7:00pm. We start the first week in September, until the last Tuesday in May. Everyone is welcome. The Cost is $3.00 to play.
Delhi Bid Euchre Rules at The Delhi German Home
Pink Card Ladies - White Card Men …..In case of a sit out, the person gets 30 points.
Shuffle the cards a minimum of 3 times. We play eight games. The starting bid must be three or higher. If a Spade is called that is trump. No changing your mind. When you are finished playing put the cards in the centre of the table. Moon shot money is $ 1.00
When everyone is finished we will ring the bell
A team moves by having the highest points. If both teams have the same points at the end of the game, the winning team is the one who made the bid and will move on.
Don’t move until the bell rings
When you move to another table the men get older, the women get younger. When dealing a turned up card requires a complete re-deal. If someone bids out of turn, that person will miss their bid. If their partner chooses to bid, it must be the opposite colour.
If you have a dispute at your table try and solve it yourself. If that doesn’t work, re-deal or contact one of us.
At the end of eight games if your score is over 250 or higher have someone check and initial it to make sure it is added correctly. If you don’t know someone at your table, introduce yourself. All we ask is please have respect for each other.
We also try to make it in twenty minutes per game, if we can
